One tool that I would like to learn how to use is the Smartboard.  I am not very familiar with this new technology, but everything I have heard about it seems great.  With more and more technology like this being created for use in the classroom, teachers definitely need to be kept up to date.

I think that technology in the classroom is very important on many different levels.  Students are using technology more and more in their personal lives, so it only makes sense that teachers should integrate it more in the classroom.  However, if teachers do not use technology in a coherent fashion it can also detract from learning.  It is important that teachers who use technology in the classroom know exactly what they are doing and how it will help learning...
